I spent 20+ years in specialty pharma and biotech sales, earning trust with some of the most demanding physicians in the world. I learned how to read a room, make people feel like the most important person at the table, and show up prepared for anything.

Turns out that's exactly what it takes to host a great game of mahjong.

I made this leap because it lit me up. Not because it was easy.

I've called Austin home since 2001. Married to Jim since 1998, mom of three, with our labradoodle Waffles somewhere underfoot. Just ran my 15th marathon in London. We chase experiences — Morocco, Japan, the Arctic Circle, wherever inspiration lives. The moments that move us are the ones we said yes to.

My oldest son told me to stop planning and start doing. I listened. Best advice I ever took.
