New to American Mahjong? This is where you start.

Join me at Café Crème Austin for a beginner series designed to take you from "what is that tile" to confidently building a hand. We'll cover the basics of American Mahjong using official NMJL rules, how to read the card, tile recognition, and the strategy behind building winning hands. All materials are provided, so you don't need to bring a thing except yourself (and maybe a friend).

This is a small, social setting, not a lecture. Expect questions, laughter, and a genuine love for the game passed on the way it should be: with patience and a little sparkle. You will leave with resources and a desire to play more! We will have follow up 102 classes available.
